If you can actually see mold brush off what you can but dont force it. Make sure your leather garment or item is completely dry before beginning. Dip a clean cloth into the diluted rubbing alcohol solution then squeeze out the excess liquid.

Make sure you get it in those cracks and corners. The next thing you need to do is youll take some lemon juice and mix it with water. Wash the leather surface where mold and mildew are present frequently rinsing the mold and mildew off the cloth then adding more diluted alcohol.

Well this is the best way to get mold out of your leathers. Use water and a clean cloth to rub off the mold. Hose down the jacket with regular water and then scrub at the mildew with a clean damp sponge.

Scrub the life jacket using a soft bristle brush to remove most mildew mold and stains. Allow the item to dry again. Horsehair brushes are great but synthetic bristles are okay too.

After drying it under the sun wipe the surface with a mixture between mild soap not harsh detergent and water. Spot test the mixture in a hidden area of the jacket to make sure the solution wont discolor your leather. You may add a squeeze of liquid soap or lemon juice to enhance the effect.
